Kathy Benemann

CEO, Kiyo, Inc

Kathy is CEO/Founder of Kiyo, Inc.  A high impact edtech strategy consulting firm that has served clients including Pearson, McGraw Hill, New York Hall of Science, and early stage startups.  She is an educator, learning science researcher, and business leader who equips learners with effective resources, instructors with innovative tools, and businesses with accountable strategies for delivering both profitability and impact.  Prior to Kiyo, Kathy was General Manager of the EdTech Innovation Lab at GSVlabs, where she fueled highh-impact startups and large organizations to deliver technologies that transform education.  She also lead products at Amplify, Intel, LeapFrog, and UC Berkeley’s School of Education.
Kathy holds an M.Ed and MBA from UC Berkeley and B.S. in Biology from UC Davis.
